    Caitlin Quinn, MS, RD, LDN
Assistant VP, Program Development and Nutrition Coach

Grade school was the first time Caitlin deeply understood the connection between food and chemistry and its influence on good health. Her bent for science led her to a series of personal experiments where she tested the hypothesis that certain foods she ate, mostly highly processed ones, gave her headaches and made her feel sick.

Without her parents knowledge (just like a kid!), Caitlin began to cut out certain foods and monitor her reactions to see if her symptoms disappeared. Eureka! It worked. From there, she was able to convince her parents to lose those ‘bad’ foods and instead, discover a whole array of fruits and vegetables she had never tried before. This first great experiment and experience in understanding how food affected her body became Caitlin’s focus and passion over the long term. At Boston University, she pursued first an undergraduate degree and then a Master's in Nutritional Science.

Eager to help others gain a richer understanding about their relationship with food and how it impacts the mind and body, Caitlin pursues opportunities where she can help clients to improve their lives. She is currently a Registered Dietician at Quincy Medical Center, has worked as a nutrition educator in two school settings, and has lead numerous community-based discussions on nutrition and meal planning.

Caitlin joined iBeamforLife as a nutrition coach because the program and philosophy reflect her deeply held beliefs about nutrition, behavior modification and healthful living. She believes that people can be healthy without deprivation, especially when given the right kind of caring support and smart resources to help make gradual changes that last. Caitlin’s work includes shaping best practices for compassionate and effective one-on-one nutrition coaching at iBeamforLife and assists in developing the company’s overall program. She is passionate about working with clients individually, encouraging them into a new sense of discovery and better self-care, and helping them to meet their life goals for improved health and nutrition. And her clients feel it, know it, breathe it, love it, every time they speak to her.
